Our music packages have been designed by looking at what worked and what didn’t work with over 100 DJ events.
What we found was that there were a core set of 30 points that needed to be communicated to the DJ in order for the DJ to meet and exceed the expectations of the client.
Freedom and ease
In our Freedom and Ease package we cover over 30 questions with you to make sure you hear the music you love, without subjecting you to the music you hate. The consultation can be done in full or streamlined depending on your requirements. The questions are optional to answer, but are recommended.
Here’s some of the questions from the list.
1. What genres of music do you want played?
2. What genres of music do you want to avoid?
3. What level of deviation would you like the DJ to have from the play list? (none, low, medium or high)
4. How would you like the DJ to be at the event?

We then discovered that some clients wanted to have a lot of involvement with the music, providing a playlist and some just wanted to give us a few pointers, having the DJ judge the energy and vibe of the room. That’s when we offered to streamline the Freedom and Ease package and we created the Creative Package.
Creative
In our Creative package we have the same consultation process with you but you submit a play list. The play list can have as many tracks on it as you like and if there are up to 30 tracks on the list that we don’t have then we will purchase those tracks in preparation for the party.
We will then have an additional conversation with you to go through your play list.
From the information we have we will then advise you around your play list.
You will always have the final say and anything that we recommend you should change on your play list you will be free to accept, decline or counter offer.
Creative

The last development was when we had some clients who had diverse tastes in music, who wanted to have a high degree of control over the music, that’s when we created the Premium and Premium Lite packages.
Premium / Premium Lite
The Premium package is the same as the Creative package, but we will purchase up to 100 tracks that we don’t have in preparation for your party, which is great for people with diverse tastes in music.
