“We had a fantastic wedding day, and honeymoon thanks. Joe is an awesome DJ. So many people commented/praised him both on the night and afterwards and I passed on that he was from Love the DJ (so nice bit of publicity). The tunes he played. How he measured what music was working (the dance floor was always packed).
Unfortunately my day went so quickly I didn’t speak to him that much, but he seemed to enjoy the evening too, and would highly praise him within you company. I think I did hear someone did ask how to get in contact with him, and his response was via your Love the DJ website. I have recommended Love the DJ and the professional way you organise the DJ selection, as a well as the personal touch from the DJ on the day itself. Really good balance. Please pass my thanks onto Joe. Thank you very much for your services.”

“Happy New Year to you! Matt was excellent, we would definitely use him again. The music was perfect and it was a great night, he was really personable and just got on with it, he tried to accommodate peoples requests, but I don’t think there were too many as he was playing wicked tunes anyway. Everyone was dancing; I ended up spraining my ankle from jumping up and down on the dance floor!We would use you again, although it was pretty expensive (I know it was NYE!), our music budget is pretty tight. What worked with the service that you received?
“Was great being able to talk to Kevin way before hand – this was very reassuring, as he was very confident and made me trust him. It was excellent that Ian turned up approx 3.30pm to set up himself, and was there from then on. Last year we had a DJ whose equipment turned up with someone else, and he didn’t get there until after 8pm (3 hours after the party started) which was very stressful. Music worked well, I am reliably told that he listened to the crowd, and when music wasn’t received well he changed it.”
What if anything didn’t work with the service that you received?
“Nothing much – just a bit of the music wasn’t liked by everyone – but he was only working from the list I gave him, and you can’t please everybody.”
What did you think overall of the service?
“Excellent” Would you use Love the DJ Ltd again for a DJ booking? “Definitely and I’ll recommend - it was very good value for money, especially since we are a charity.” Is there anything else you would like to say? “Thanks for making it a successful party!”

“We liked Ian as our DJ. He listened to us if we wanted a change of mood, or just for song requests. He was very easy going and helped us with our raffle. The set up of the lights also worked very well. We would use your company again. Thanks for helping our party be really enjoyable for everyone.”

“First of all can we apologise for taking so long to give you feedback. We had the most fantastic wedding and Pascoe was a brilliant DJ. We then jetted off for a 3 week honeymoon, then straight into Christmas and New Year festivities on our return, and have only now caught our breath. I haven’t been able to get into work today because of the snow, so have a bit of time on my hands to give you feedback at long last!
We cannot fault the service your company provided, and it actually turned out to be least stressful part of all our wedding preparations. You gave us all the advice and information we needed when we needed it. You contacted us when you needed information/payment but didn’t overload us with questions which we really appreciated. Because there was so much else to organise, we had left choosing our five songs until the very last minute (2 am the Monday before the wedding I seem to remember!), but that didn’t phase you at all. Pascoe contacted me a few days before the wedding and asked all the right questions. Our one goal was for all our guests to have a good time and for the dance floor never to be empty. From the moment the music started, Pascoe achieved that objective. The music was fantastic and the dance floor was packed from the beginning of Pascoe’s session to the end. Mike and I had a fantastic time and literally had to be dragged off the dance floor at midnight! We would have no hesitation in recommending Love the DJ to friends who are getting married or having a party.
Do let us know if you need any more feedback. I do hope your company continues to thrive through the recession as we all near cheering up. Best wishes for 2009”
